Minimum Requirements
23 years of age minimum.

 

Class "A" CDL with HAZMAT endorsement.

 

Refrigerated experience desired (but not required).

MUST have 12 months of verifiable OTR tractor/trailer experience within the last 2 years; or 6 months within the last year with a major carrier.

The following violations are prohibited within the past 3 years:

1.        No more than one major preventable accident.

2.        No more than 3 minor preventable accidents.

3.        No more than 4 moving violations.

4.        No excessive speeding violations.

Must be able to enter Canada with no restrictions (no felony convictions).

The following violations in a non-commercial vehicle are prohibited within the past 5 years:

1.        DUI/DWI/OWI, Failed Chemical Test, Implied Consent.

2.        Reckless, Careless or Neglectful Driving.

3.        Speed Contest of Exhibition.

4.        Fleeing or Eluding a law enforcement officer.

5.        Leaving the scene of an accident.

6.        Operating a Motor Vehicle while suspended (as a result of a moving violation).

 

The following violations in a CMV are prohibited for Life:

1.        Possession of a drug or alcohol.

2.        DWI/DUI/OWI, Failed Chemical Test, Implied Consent.

3.        Leaving the scene of an accident.

4.        Reckless, Careless or Neglectful Driving.

5.        Commission of a felony using a CMV.

6.        Fleeing or Eluding a law enforcement officer.

Must pass a US DOT Physical Examination and Substance Abuse Screening.  A DOT physical must be within 1 year of expiration.
