HISTORY:
From its founding in 1923, Buske Logistics has been a company dedicated to going the distance to satisfy our customers' needs. That philosophy of can-do service has fueled our growth from a regional freight shipper into an international company offering a complete array of transport, warehousing and freight management services.
Herman Buske started our company in 1923, moving grocery supplies. Soon Buske Lines had several trucks hauling freight to regional warehouses for local manufacturers. When Herman passed away, his brother Jake steered the company for many years until he sold his fleet in 1959 to Herman's children Harold, Howard, Don and Joanne. Howard began buying out his brothers and sister while Harold stayed on as vice president until 1979. Under his leadership, the company doubled in size to become a competitive regional truckload carrier, with a brokerage division added in 1977.
After Howard's untimely death in January 1985, the family owned
company has remained committed to keeping Buske Logistics an
organization focused on long lasting relationships.
