Centralized Information Management:
In an industry literally driven by paperwork, controlling the flow of information is essential. ThatĘs why all of our information management functions are centralized at our Edwardsville, Illinois headquarters. Our paperless system gives us quick and easy access to all paperwork pertaining to our customers' freight, inventory, scheduling and billing. To give Buske, and you, the most cost-efficient means of tracking your shipments, and tracking down information.

Alternative Transportation Modes
If your shipping needs require more than one mode of transportation, Buske has the flexibility to adapt to your requests. We currently handle numerous loads a day via inter-modal throughout the United States and have the ability to handle your "expedited" freight as well with air and ship service. There really is not a request that we cannot handle for you when it comes to transportation!

Warehousing:
Buske specializes in more than just moving freight. With 3 million square feet of warehouse space at more than 13 locations in the U.S. and Canada, we have the capability to store it as well. Plus, we're constantly increasing our warehouse space, and number of locations, to give our customers more options for storing what we deliver. In the last five years alone our warehousing has grown by 172 percent.

Our warehouses are sized and outfitted to provide the most cost-efficient storage for today's businesses. For example, we offer 40-foot clear ceilings instead of the standard 32-foot ceiling. This gives our customers the ability to stack their inventory racks higher, to keep their storage cost per square foot down.

Unlike most warehousing companies, our warehouse management systems are both PC and AS400 based. This gives us the flexibility to communicate with customers on different systems. Because we know the importance of locating inventory at a moment's notice, we have also invested in a state-of-the-art bar coding system.

Sequencing:
Our centralized system allows us to synchronize our customers' warehousing and delivery so that the freight arrives exactly when needed. This is essential for time-sensitive shipments such as parts for assembly-line use. When you can't afford downtime waiting on a shipment, our sequencing capabilities give you assurance you can't afford to be without.

Packaging:
Our packaging capabilities enable Buske to handle additional packaging and fulfillment needs, such as bundling items for promotional packs. Our customers simply ship the packaging materials to us, and we do the rest with inventory already in our warehouses. This service saves our customers the time and expense of changing their own equipment and/or processes. Plus, it lets them use their existing inventory, instead of leaving it sit idle.
